Poem: If only you could see (you’re only dreaming)

Wake up, wake up

You’re only dreaming

Reality is so much better

If only you could see

Wake up, wake up

You’re only dreaming

See how it is through me

Fear is only in your mind

It is all but a dream

There is little to be afraid of

If only you could see
The world is not so scary

Undiscovered is what it may be

You’re safe and sound

Don’t stop believing

The world you dream is but a dream

Reality is so much better

If only you could see
I wish I understood how to calm your fears

Have you see the world like me

There is so much good out there

It’s waiting to be discovered

You’ll see
Wake up, wake up

You’re only dreaming

Reality is so much better

If only you could see
Don’t close your mind

Don’t awaken the nightmare

I am here to guide you

See the world through me

Just wait and see
If only you could see through me

You would see how wonderful the world outside is so much better than it seems

No one wants to be afraid or be hurt

So much miscommunication; easily fixed if only tried

People want the good world, not one’s pride

The world we live in

Diverse it may be

Doesn’t mean we can’t live together

Wake up, wake up

You’re only dreaming

Reality is so much better

If only you could see

Just like me
