Songs that define me: You’re Not There

“You’re Not There” by Lukas Graham

This is the band that has the song “7 years” being played to death on the radio right now–or at least in  southwestern USA. I liked “7 years” song and checked out their album. I really feel emotionally moved by “You’re Not There” and really enjoy the upbeat aspects of “Happy Home.”

I posted this song because this song allowed me to find a place where I could miss my Mom–grieve the loss–and know it ok to not be ok. I did not realize that I still feel this way or the need to feel this way. I really enjoy most of their album. Their live performances, from what I’ve seen on YouTube, are the best I’ve seen in a while.
